New Forest Basics Bank

New Forest Basics Bank has been running since 2004, working with local churches together. They help people in need to feed themselves and their families as a stopgap while more permanent solutions can be found.  The Basics Bank responds to referrals from social work agencies, including the Citizen’s Advice Bureaux, County Council services for adults and children, job centres, drug and alcohol advisory services, social workers, churches, schools and many others. We work with Basics Bank as a collection station for them throughout the year and especially highlighting it at key times i.e Christmas and Harvest time.
